Key genes linked to DNA damage and human disease identified
More than one hundred key genes linked to DNA damage have been uncovered through systematic screening of nearly 1,000 genetically modified mouse lines, in a new study published in Nature. This work is the culmination of a long-standing collaboration between the Steve Jackson lab, Dr Gabriel Balmus at the UKDRI, and Dr David Adams, Wellcome Sanger Institute as well as contributions from other research groups worldwide.
