It's the end of an era, the Jackson lab is moving!

After three decades at the forefront of research into DNA repair in cancer at the Gurdon Institute, Professor Steve Jackson is taking up a new appointment as Senior Group Leader at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute from 1st September 2022. He will retain his associations with the University of Cambridge Department of Biochemistry and the Gurdon Institute. His lab will be moving over the coming months.

“We are hugely excited to be moving to the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute but, at the same time, so sad to be leaving all our wonderful friends at the Gurdon Institute. The past 30 years have been an amazing time and we look forward to continuing our ground-breaking science with colleagues old and new.”
