11th SALK Cell Cycle Virtual Meeting 2021

  • Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute The Henry Wellcome Building of Cancer and Developmental Biology Cambridge, CB2 1QN United Kingdom (map)

Following the great success of the 2018 meeting, we are pleased to announce that the 2021 Salk Cell Cycle Meeting will be held virtually on June 22-25, 2021, hosted by the Salk Institute. We regret that we cannot hold this meeting in person as we had originally planned, but given that three years has passed since the 2018 Cell Cycle meeting, we feel that is important to hold the meeting this year, even if it has to be virtual. The meeting will kick off at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, June 22 with the Newport Lecture, given by Sue Biggins (FHCRC). The seven thematic sessions spread over four days will cover: Growth and Proliferation, DNA Replication, Genome Stability, Mitosis, Cell Cycle and Development, and Cell Cycle Switches and Division. Each session will consist of long talks by invited speakers and short talks selected from those who submit abstracts. There will also be three poster sessions and a meet-the-speaker event.
