The inaugural Texas Conference on Genome Repair will take place at the Hilton Palacio del Rio on the San Antonio Riverwalk, October 31-November 1, 2021. The objectives of the conference are to showcase cutting edge research on DNA damage repair and its disease implications, and fostering interactions and collaborations amongst scientists in Texas working in these areas. The research presented will encompass DNA and replication fork repair, transcription-replication conflicts, DNA damage checkpoints, epigenetics, chromatin structure and function, role of genetic instability in cancer and other diseases, and targeting repair pathways for therapy.
